There is way more to life than money but let’s face it, it does make life easier and gives you more choice and freedom.  In my book club this month we read and talked about Get Rich Lucky Bitch by Denise Duffield-Thomas which is all about how to manifest money into your life.  It’s a very enjoyable, easy to read book with lots of practical exercises and a 5 step process to follow.

One of the main concepts behind manifesting money is to feel rich now.  So how do you feel rich when your bank balance disagrees? Feeling rich is so much more than feeling like you have money, although that is certainly part of it!  Here are 6 things you can do to feel rich now while you wait on the mullah to arrive.

Gratitude

Gratitude is the number 1 thing that will help you feel rich.  Create a daily practice of writing down at least 3 things that you are grateful for and actually take the time to feel that gratitude in your heart.  It will make you realise just how much you have already.

Giving

Giving to others really does give you the warm and fuzzies inside.  It doesn’t have to be money that you give either.  The best things in life are free and you can give someone your time, love, attention, compliments or even a smile.  Make giving to those around you, especially those less fortunate than you, part of your life and watch as it gets returned to you and creates a lovely ripple effect out into the world.

New Experiences

Trying new things and having new experiences really does bring a richness to life and again this doesn’t have to cost very much.  Voucher websites like Groupon make trying new things very affordable. Meetup.com is another great way to try something new and meet new people whilst having great new experiences to deposit into your memory bank.  In the end, it’s that balance that matters way more than your bank balance.

Expect good fortune

Affirmations are great for this. They help change your mindset and mood when you say them. One that Denise suggests saying every day, especially when you see others around you getting what you want and are going into comparison is:-

It’s my time now and I’m ready for the next step

Tell yourself you are lucky and expect good things to happens and guess what?  Your mind will automatically be on high alert to notice good things.  It’s like a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Celebrate all money coming it

One of the practical exercises in the book is to start tracking everything you have coming in and celebrating it.  She even suggests tracking all the coins you find in the street (or anywhere!) by picking them up, adding it to your tracker and celebrating!  The celebrating part really does feel good and will train you to be happy about what you have coming in rather than despair there is not enough!

Tracking show the universe you’re paying attention to the abundance already on your life. ~ Get Ricky Lucky Bitch.

Surround yourself with love

Being with your loved ones really is the most important thing in life. Way more important than money, so surround yourself with those you love and who love you back and feel like the richest person in the world!

Try the tips above and also buy the book below and follow the processes in there and let me know how you get on!  I’d love to hear from you!
